CV 0.6/1 kV
CV cable is an electrical cable that is commonly used as an electrical main cable. or the main line supplying sub-electric power in the building It is a low voltage power cable (Low Voltage Power Cable). There are both single core and multi core types. The insulation is XLPE with the sheath being PVC. The electrical conductor is made of copper. Can withstand voltages of 0.6/1 kV or 600/1000 volts with a maximum temperature of 90°C
CV cable is a strong electrical cable. And can withstand higher temperatures than general electrical wires. Can be installed floating in the air, through pipes, and buried in the ground. But if installing in a building, it is recommended to walk in pipes. or in a fully enclosed trough for safety
Structure
- Conductor: single stranded annealed copper. or tightly twisted
- Insulation: Cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE).
- 1 core color: natural color
- 2 core colors: blue, brown
- 3 core colors: brown, black, grey
- 4 core colors: blue, brown, black, gray
- Filler: Polypropylene (material does not absorb moisture) (for 2 cores, 3 cores, 4 cores)
- Strapping tape: polyvinyl tape and/or spunbond tape (for 2 cores, 3 cores, 4 cores)
- Shell: Black polyvinyl chloride (PVC) shell
Usage
For installation exposed or in raceway, wet or dry location, or direct burial in ground
